American Folk Project 
Friday 9 April at 21:30 at the Village Pub in Gubbio, the Associazione Culturale Arte & Surroundings presents an evening of American folk music .
The group called "American Folk Project" performs folk songs in the U.S. by addressing some of its most important themes such as work, religion, the adventures of characters characteristic, love, without forgetting that there is a strong link with the tradition of Anglo-Irish and how popular culture has influenced American songwriters of the twentieth century.
's performance is characterized by the use, as well as a lead vocalist, both typical instruments of popular culture in North America (guitar, harmonica, accordion, mandolin) and more female voices, which are also prominent in popular songs .
American Folk Project is the brainchild of Simon Sabatino and continues through the work of Simone Sabatino, Damiano De Santis, Alessandra Di Pilla, Lorenzo Cannella, Celani Letizia, Chiara Pompeii.
Some songs will be introduced in Italian by Chiara acacia, Federico Amoni and Marco Panfili's Theatre Company Arts & Surroundings
