The Cultural Association "Arts & Surrounding Area" in collaboration with the Cinema Theatre Astra Theatre Company present The Arts & Surroundings and the Duo Akpenda FRIDAY October 2 at 21:15 at the Cinema-Theatre ASTRA Gubbio.
The evening consists of a play inspired by the "Retabillo Don Cristobal" by F. Garcia Lorca, the "Theatre of Don Cristobal" directed by Marco Panfili and the second part of the evening is devoted to Balkan music, popular Duo Akipenda; Sladjana Bozic and Maurizio Scavazzon from Venice.

Sladjana and Maurizio meet by chance through their music and this meeting is born a musical experience that combines two people, two different lives lived in different countries, two different musical experiences that together create a single thing called Akipenda.
Akipenda comes from the desire to express their emotions, memories and traditions to the sounds of accordion and bass.
authors and composers of their music, they try to combine their various backgrounds and traditions, with sounds acquired from different artistic backgrounds,
so often feel in their music Balkan influences, jazz, classical .... creating an original set, new and fresh.

Director Marco Panfili, has designed and created this play, using the technique of Shakespearean theater in the theater, and introducing not just a play of puppets, created by the Homer and made Angerame Felicita by Donini and musical interludes.
